Paying for your event

The payment methods Offkai supports, and how to get your RSVP confirmed.

When you RSVP to a paid event, the host chooses which payment methods they accept. You pick one at checkout.

Card (instant)

Pay by credit or debit card through our secure Stripe checkout. Your RSVP is confirmed right away and your ticket arrives by email.

Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Wise, and more (needs a quick review)

Hosts can offer these and other payment apps of their choice. You pay the host directly using the handle shown on the event, then upload a screenshot of your payment as proof. Your RSVP sits at "Pending" until the host verifies the screenshot — usually within a day or two. Once they confirm it, your ticket is issued. Offkai never touches this money; it goes straight to the host.

Cash at the door

Reserve your spot now and pay in person when you arrive. Your ticket and QR code stay on hold until the host marks you paid — usually right at check-in.

Promo or access codes

Have a code? Enter it on the event before you check out — it can unlock a discount or reveal hidden ticket tiers.

Why does my RSVP say "Pending"? That only happens with screenshot methods (Venmo/Zelle/PayPal/Wise) — it's waiting for the host to confirm your payment. Card payments are never pending. If it's been more than a couple of days, contact the host.
