Both events and Arigathanks boards have their own blocklist so you can keep a specific person out, without affecting anyone else.
Blocking someone from an event
The organizer, or an Editor co-host (Scanners can't), manages this from the event page's Manage section → Blocklist, which shows the current count. This works on drafts too, so you can block someone before the event even goes live.
Block by @username (the @ is optional and it's not case-sensitive) or by email, with an optional private note only hosts can see.
A blocked person can't see the event — it disappears from Discover, the map, and the event link for them — and can't RSVP, join the waitlist, or buy a ticket.
Blocking someone automatically cancels any interested, waitlisted, or pending-offer spot they hold on that event. A paid or confirmed RSVP is left untouched — there's no automatic refund. If they already have one, you'll see a warning pointing you to the Guests page to cancel or refund it yourself.
Co-hosts of the event — Editor or Scanner — can't be blocked, and neither can the organizer. An email with no Offkai account yet starts matching the moment that address signs up. A walk-in guest added by name only, with no account or email on file, can't be matched by the blocklist.
Unblocking someone from the panel removes the entry and restores their access to the event going forward — it doesn't restore a spot that was cancelled while they were blocked.
Blocking is silent: the blocked person isn't notified.

Blocking someone from an Arigathanks board
The board owner or any board moderator manages this from the board's settings page or its moderation page, both of which link to the board's Blocklist. Blocking works the same way — @username or email, with an optional note.
A blocked person can't open the board or post on it. Their existing posts are hidden right away (reversible — a moderator can unhide them from the moderation tools). The board owner and its moderators can't be blocked.
